Apply this stain to lengthen the life of your cedar furniture by providing a protective coating so you can enjoy your furniture for years to come.

About Old Adirondack and Cedar
  • Northern white cedar is unique, because it is naturally resistant to wood rot and pests.
  • It is extremely light weight, yet it can resist cracking, splintering, or swelling because it absorbs and loses moisture slowly.
  • Cedar products can last 25-30 years unfinished.
  • It will be shipped in its natural golden color. You can leave it like that, or stain it with a water based oil stain that will slow the weathering process. If you leave it as is, it will naturally weather to a silver gray.
  • Cedar has the US Forest Products Laboratory highest rating for decay and disease resistance.
  • Fresh cedar odor is a mild insect repellent.
