Cumberland Daybed with Nightstand by Old Adirondack, Inc.

Handcrafted in the Adirondacks, this daybed and nightstand set has rustic beauty and rugged construction. These coordinating pieces look like they came straight from a log cabin! They are made of Northern White Cedar, a unique material that is lightweight yet extremely durable. The pieces are left unfinished, displaying the natural light hue and woodgrain of the cedar. They can be stained if desired (see below for more information). Both the daybed and the nightstand feature thick post construction, contributing to their rustic looks.

Note: The mattress and bedding are not included.

Naturally resistant to wood rot and pests
Cedar has the US Forest Products Laboratory highest rating for decay and disease resistance
Lightweight, yet can resist cracking, splintering and swelling because it absorbs and loses moisture slowly
Cedar pieces can last 25-30 years unfinished and will naturally weather to a silver gray
Weathering process can be slowed by staining the pieces with a water-based oil stain
Preserve and protect cedar pieces with the Staining Kit
